An international team comprising OKRA, IT’s, OMA, NET Engineering, and other collaborators has won the Vision for Rome competition, organised by the Roma REgeneration Foundation.

The winning proposal, Roma Continua—guided by four core principles of well-being, beauty, knowledge, and “reform and extension”—reimagines Rome as a living Secosystem, establishing a framework for adaptation and reinvention over time while building on the city’s inherent qualities and existing strengths. The proposal introduces targeted interventions across multiple scales, including green corridors, mobility hubs, and new programmes that integrate housing with adaptive reuse.

Our winning design aims to transform the French city centre of Lille by turning the fragmented Avenue du Peuple Belge into a new 5,5-hectare park of vibrant public spaces that bring heritage, people, and nature together. Our proposal focuses on creating a multifunctional park that preserves historical traces without sacrificing the greenery and structure of the urban landscape.

Located between Bruges and Ghent, and bordering the Ryckevelde forest – a protected natural area with historical landmarks – Sijsele presents a unique fusion of history and modernity. We were able to face this challenging project joining forces with META, BRUT, Bureau SLA, Van Roey Vastgoed, Miix, Hercull, and Infunctievan (renders).

Our competition proposal for reimagining Sijsele fuses the rich historical legacy of a former military industrial site with the dynamic demands of a vibrant, sustainable residential and mixed-use neighbourhood that welcomes residents, workers, and makers into a cohesive community.

Our design proposal, Isolíneas, created in collaboration with OAB Office of Architecture in Barcelona and Vi17 Arquitectura, has been selected as the winner of the international competition to transform Pamplona’s historic promenade. Chosen from five finalist teams, this project represents an exciting milestone for us and an opportunity to redefine how public spaces connect people, culture, and nature.

The jury commended Isolíneas for its comprehensive approach, highlighting how the proposal balances the social, heritage, and environmental dimensions of Paseo de Sarasate.

We’re proud to be one of the six chosen consulting teams for the conceptual planning and design of the Golden Inner Bay.

The challenge is to optimise the spatial framework, drive industrial transformation and foster ecological civilisation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area, ultimately achieving sustainable and high-quality development.

We are honoured to have been selected as one of three design teams for Stage 2 of the Request for Proposal for the North-South Corridor (NSC) Master Plan in Singapore together with a multidisciplinary team led by CPG Consultants (a subsidiary of CPG Corporation).

Our winning team concept ODA will transform Rietkamers into a new nature-inclusive and resilient living area.

OKRA designed the green-blue structures and public spaces to be well integrated into the 3 residential blocks by De Zwarte Hond. The landscape, vertical greenery and green-blue roofs create a strong ecological link to the Oedenvlietse Park and are contributing to a healthy city and conservation of protected and native plant and animal species.

The joint efforts of the team made ODA an exemplary project that is nature inclusive and climate adaptive, with the lowest possible environmental impact.
