
Intermediate landscape designer/architect
OKRA works on award-winning projects both in the Netherlands and internationally, ranging from detailed design to large-scale spatial visions. To support a growing number of projects at home and abroad, OKRA is seeking a talented designer with 2–5 years of professional experience. What will you do?
As an intermediate landscape designer/architect at OKRA, you will play a key role in a diverse range of design projects. Working closely with an associate or project leader, you will help shape creative proposals and contribute across all project phases, from site analysis and conceptual development to detailed design.
You will be instrumental in translating OKRA’s vision on climate adaptation and nature-based solutions into tangible spatial interventions at various scales. Taking ownership of the design process, you will ensure alignment with the project brief, while also guiding junior team members.
When needed, you will represent the design team (possibly alongside the project lead or associate) in external meetings and workshops, engaging with stakeholders and project partners.
What we expect from you
- You are a motivated and talented landscape or urban designer with strong communication skills in Dutch and/or English (both spoken and written)
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape or urban design
- You have approximately 2–5 years of relevant work experience
- You are capable of working independently and taking ownership of your tasks
- You are proficient in AutoCAD/ BricsCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Enscape is considered a plus
- You are proactive, communicative, and a team player
