PR and communications assistant

OKRA works on award-winning projects both domestically and internationally, ranging from implementation designs to large-scale area visions, always characterized by a clear vision: making a positive impact on people and nature. We are looking for a PR and Communications assistant to support the office’s communication, marketing and business development strategies. In this role, you will be working directly with the PR and Communications supervisor on multiple daily PR operations and getting the opportunity to develop your storytelling and presentation skills.

 
 
 
 

What will you be doing?

  • Produce and update marketing and business development material (online, offline)
  • Develop content for our social media channels and website
  • Monitor our social media channels and connect with our audience
  • Maintain a library of presentations for marketing purposes
  • Provide support with graphic and presentation material for Business Development and Communications purposes
  • Assist in the preparation of award submissions and publications
  • Assist in project and office photography
 
 
 
 

What we expect from you:

  • You have one year of experience in a similar role
  • You have insight into and affinity with landscape architecture, urban planning and design
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in the field of PR / Communication / Marketing, or design background
  • You have excellent writing, graphic and communication skills
  • You have an excellent use of: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WordPress
  • You are proficient in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is an advantage
  • You are an initiative-rich person and you can organize well your own work
  • You are available for at least 24 hours per week
