The City at Eye Level

Recently the second, significantly expanded version of The City at Eye Level is published. OKRA participates with the article “the Ebb and Flow of Public Space”.

The quality of the public space is the basis of strong, sustainable cities. The City at Eye Level is an international program aimed at improving the city at eye level and a public space in which human scale, interaction and experience being central. The book contains best practices from all continents and look wider to place making and the whole experience of the public space.

The City at Eye Level is a book, an open source network and a program on towns, streets to improve places all over the world. This second edition of the book was written by more than 80 co-authors and edited by Stipo. The book is available in hard copy or can be downloaded for free through www.thecityateyelevel.com.
