Su Xin has been working as a designer at OKRA since 2021. She graduated from the master’s program in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences at TU Delft. She also obtained a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Singapore University of Technology and Design and studied at MIT. She is fascinated by ecological playscapes and sustainability. She previously worked at Ramboll Dreiseitl Studio in Singapore, where she designed outdoor adventure elements. This fascination led her to dedicate her graduate project to biodiversity and climate adaptation linked to play landscapes.
According to Su Xin, there are many untapped opportunities in urban environments to integrate biodiversity into the design and thus improve the quality of urban life. She wants to create a sustainable and liveable environment for all, where humans are an integrated and responsible part of nature.
