Rutger is a project manager with a great deal of technical expertise. He enjoys conceptualization but employs his technical experience in design development. Within the design process, Rutger can quickly shift from regional scale to design details. Rutger believes in the value of place and strives to make a beautiful design that people can enjoy year-round. During the design process, he is detail-oriented, communicative and maintains a comprehensive overview. Since 2013, Rutger has contributed to numerous projects from all scales, Dutch and international. Rutger holds a BSc in Garden and Landscape Design from the Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences. He also worked at a design-build firm where he constructed gardens and semi-public places.
