Jeroen Boon

Landscape Architect

Jeroen started working at OKRA in 2019. He is very interested in the connection between nature and human interventions in nature. Where they meet, he tries to tell the story of the place with minimal interventions. The balance between making and leaving out is essential. Also, there must always be space for flexibility in the design.

Jeroen studied Garden and Landscape Design at the Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences. He graduated in 2019 from the master’s programme in Landscape Architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture. In his graduation project, he focused on the southwestern delta of the Netherlands, where he investigated the possibilities for a naturally regenerating delta.
