Jeroen (1990) started working at OKRA since the beginning of 2019. He is very interested in the connection between nature and the human interventions in nature. Where they meet, he tries to tell the story of the place with minimal interventions. The balance between making and leaving out is essential. In addition, there must always be space for flexibility in the design.
Jeroen studied Garden and Landscape Design at the University of Applied Sciences Larenstein and is currently following a Master in Landscape Architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture. For his graduation project he focuses on the southwestern delta of the Netherlands and is looking for the possibilities of a naturally regenerating delta.
