Ilya is a senior landscape designer with a strong interest in landscape urbanism and intimate public spaces. She found her passion in the borderline of landscape architecture and urbanism. Her conceptual skills and multidisciplinary background make her a versatile designer. She believes that interventions should be flexible and inclusive to preserve and strengthen every place’s indigenous identity and distinct character.
Ilya holds a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture from the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and a diploma in Architecture Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. She has previously worked in H. Pangalou & Associates Landscape Architects and participated in the final phase of the construction of Renzo Piano SNFCC Park in Athens. Within this position, she further improved her multidisciplinary team-working skills and strengthened her holistic design process. Ilya is currently involved in a wide variety of local and international projects.
