Ilya Tasioula (1991) is a landscape architect at OKRA with a strong interest in landscape urbanism and intimate public spaces. She found her passion in the borderline of landscape architecture and urbanism. Under the scope of landscape architecture and urbanism she understood and consciously approached every landscape while her conceptual skills and multidisciplinary background make her a versatile designer. She believes that interventions should be flexible and inclusive in order to preserve and strengthen the indigenous identity and distinct character of every place.
Ilya holds a Master of Science in landscape architecture from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and a diploma of Architecture & Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. She has previously worked in H. Pangalou & Associates Landscape Architects and participated in the final phase of the construction of Renzo Piano SNFCC Park in Athens. Within this position she further improved her multidisciplinary teamworking skills and strengthened her involvement in the holistic design process. Ilya is currently involved in a wide variety of local and international projects.
