Eva Groen joined OKRA in early 2021. Her work interests are at the interface of urban planning, landscape architecture, and sociology. According to her, there is a lot of added value to be discovered in design interventions approached from a collective perspective because of the great influence on the experience of the space.
Eva graduated in 2020 from the Delft University of Technology with a master’s degree in urban design. Her graduate research focused on improving the experience and physical design of public space in a city neighbourhood in the centre of Rotterdam, focusing on the use, climatological impact and microclimate. Participative working, creative visualisation techniques at eye level, and landscape architecture integration were important themes in this.
