Antonia Cangosz joined OKRA in 2017 after she graduated from Wageningen University at the faculty of landscape architecture. During her studies she was focusing on climate-responsive design methods especially on how to mitigate the severe effects of urban heat islands and improve general thermal perception. With this knowledge she aims to draw attention on climate conscious public realm design with the integration of the most recent innovative methods. Antonia is currently involved in a wide variety of local and international projects.
Prior moving to the Netherlands, Antonia was working as an environmental designer in a Budapest-based traffic engineering company where she gained a wealth of experience in large scale environmental conscious designs. Within this position she was involved in preparing both national and regional strategic environmental impact assessments with a particular interest in noise pollution in urban areas.
