Antoine Thevenet is an urban designer actively involved in a range of Dutch and international public realm and landscape design projects. His broad understanding of urban issues, diverse skill set and ability to work across a wide range of scales and contexts allow him to provide a global approach of urban projects. Drawn to the constant drive for innovation, Antoine is passionate about placemaking and the sustainable transformation of the urban environment that contributes to people’s health, happiness and well-being. His strategic thinking and multidisciplinary skillset helps him to integrate the complexity of urban issues into meaningful, innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Antoine graduated in 2011 from the Urban Planning Institute in Lyon, France. Before joining OKRA in 2016, he worked for 3 years in urban planning, design and landscape practices Initial Consultants in Lyon and BDP in London where he developed a robust design knowledge with a focus on landscape and public space design, complex mixed use master planning, feasibility studies and spatial analysis.
